Services to Adults |
LHS provides diagnostic and focused treatment
services for any of the problems listed above or for emotional problems
associated with life circumstances such as separation, divorce and bereavement.
For recurrent difficulties within one's personality, we offer more intensive
psychotherapy.

Children
and Adolescents
|
Children and adolescents receive comprehensive
diagnostic evaluations. Typical presenting problems include school
underachievement, peer relationship problems, sibling conflict, aggressive and
oppositional behavior, social isolation, identity concerns, anxiety, depression,
and reactions to stressors such as parental separation, and divorce. If
treatment is indicated, a wide range of services is available including play
therapy, individual therapy, parental counseling, behavioral modification and
school consultation.

Substance Abuse Treatment |
Treatment services for the recovering chemically
dependent individual are also available. Recovery is supported through a
combination of individual, marital and family therapy and participation in the
self-help fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous

Psychiatric Services |
Psychiatric and medication evaluations are
arranged on an as needed basis. Clients are treated by board certified
psychiatrists and APRNs. Referrals are made to other medical specialists when
indicated.

Urgent
Services |
Individuals and families in crisis receive
priority attention and rapid access to evaluation and treatment. LHS maintains
24-hour telephone coverage and therapist availability

Psychological
Assessment |
As needed, psychological testing and other forms
of psychological assessment are provided to assist in the care of our clients

Insurance and Appointments |
Our services are covered by many insurance
companies. Each clinician make take different insurances. Some insurances
require prior approval to be seen by a mental health clinician. We offer
daytime and evening appointments. Clients are seen by appointment
